New Beta Apps: NORSE Labs on Windows, encryptSIM on Android
Two important new dVPN releases from third-party teams dropped over the weekend.

Two important new dVPN application betas have begun within the past two days: One from a familiar name, and one from an entirely new third-party partner.
Continue reading below for more background and links to downloads. As always with beta applications, these builds are for testing purposes and quality of service cannot yet be guaranteed.
DVPN
Windows
NORSE Labs' freemium standalone dVPN client for Windows is now officially in its open public beta phase, marking the second Windows dVPN launch of 2025 within the Sentinel Ecosystem. The client (titled DVPN) originally debuted on Android, iOS, and Mac desktop systems last year. DVPN offers free limited access to Sentinel's node network, with additional features and locations available upon purchase of a "DVPN Plus" subscription.
Versions for Apple TV and Android TV have also joined them since January. The smart TV versions have performed especially well, entering the top free apps charts in multiple countries upon release.
NORSE Labs is incorporated and headquartered in Estonia. It is owned by Aleksandr Litreev, a Russian-born political dissident and cybersecurity expert who also serves as Sentinel's CEO.
Other Sentinel dVPN applications with versions for Windows include Valt and Meile dVPN. Sentinel Shield, the ecosystem's flagship application, and Independent dVPN, its most-downloaded offering, will be arriving on the OS soon.
Sentinel Docs maintains a live directory of every dVPN application in the ecosystem.

Sentinel's dVPN application network officially gained a new member yesterday: encryptSIM has added a dVPN feature within their beta Android app.
encryptSIM are the creators of the world's first Web3 eSIMs. In addition to supporting crypto payments for subscriptions, their product also features encryption and requires no customer KYC. They are Sentinel's first telecom partner, as well as the project's first dVPN partner in the East Asia region.
Their application, which is also in its public beta testing phase, provides no-cost dVPN service to anybody with an active eSIM plan. Development has progressed at a remarkably quick pace, as work began on it less than four months ago.

What is Sentinel?
Sentinel is a peer-to-peer global bandwidth marketplace which powers both privacy-focused consumer products and development utilities. The most prominent of these usecases at present are decentralised VPN (dVPN) applications and data acquisition for the training of AI models.
