About Us
P2P News is the community's most-trusted nexus for meticulous news coverage of the Sentinel Ecosystem and its applications, distributed infrastructure, and third-party contributors across the globe.
Though the website itself was launched in 2024 by the Sentinel Growth DAO, our operations stretch back to 2022, when Sentinel Independent News (better known as S.I.N.) established its newsfeeds on Telegram and X in order to boost the circulation and availability of news about this open source project.
In mid-2025, P2P News and S.I.N. were merged into a single lean Sentinel news machine with over a hundred articles and thousands of news bulletins to our name. Our content reaches over two thousand readers across the web almost every day.

Sentinel is a peer-to-peer global bandwidth marketplace which powers both privacy-focused consumer products and development utilities. The most prominent of these usecases at present are decentralised VPN (dVPN) applications and data acquisition for the training of AI models.
